Jinsha :: Scenes 1by ~Minyi

Random scenes (meant to look like fake screencaps haha) from Jinsha, my own manga which I haven't actually started yet. But I like to promote it a bit.

Jinsha :: Legend of the Stars

The story is based in mythical China, loosely inspired by my first visit many years ago and especially from a recently discovered archaeological site of a lost civilisation of 'Jinsha' (Golden Sand), located in Sichuan.

Summary

After the word got out that a boy of pure white hair was born in the tiny village of the East, the Emperor, under suspicion and fear, begins the worldly hunt and advances his armies.

The Prophecy speaks of the reincarnation of the White Tiger, one of the Great Four of the heavenly gods, and he who possess the spirit of the White Tiger is said to be the one who will end the reign of terror of the corrupt empire.

However, Jian is still not of age to even consider aiding the war and let alone know of the Prophecy. After a gruesome ambush in his home village, he is forced to leave home to travel north to seek the old monk who he hope will help him.

It soon becomes apparent that Jian is not the only reincarnation. The occurrence of the nine celestial alignments, an event that only happens every 500 years, seemed to have brought the gods together in a time of need.
